Conditions have rendered the sign above a tad redundant.
Aaaand here we find ourselves uttering the infamous 'don't touch the powerlines'. Admonitions not heard since the '70s. We've only had 18&1/2 feet of snow this winter; the snowiest season I ever witnessed was 24 feet and the all time biggie in '72 totalled 40 feet. The difference is in having cooler days of sun rather than endless gray and ice cold rain following each snow. The rain doesn't make the snow disappear though it
does pack it down a bit.
